1969 - Born, Barry's Bay Ontario to poet and playwright Joseph McLeod and Susannah Maslak.
1976 - Moves to Landshut in (West) Germany attends school and learns the language and history of his mothers family before they moved form the south of Germany to Berlin.
1979 - Back in Toronto, begins Waldorf School, where colour theory, drawing and visual storytelling were a big part of the curriculum.
1983-1987 - High School - set design, lighting, photography, and protest politics helped form his identity. Starts his exploration of montage works on paper and large scale ink drawings.
1988-90 - Spends many months for several years in Belize, Guatemala and Mexico, inspired by jungle ruins of Tekal and Palenque in Mexico and the seeming lawlessness of Belize he begins to form his vision of thick landscapes and colour.
1990-1992 - Studies at Toronto School of Art; forms Table of Dogs collective with fellow students. Montage works grow into sonic collage works as the TOD organize independent exhibition through out the city.
1992 - Moves to Ibiza, Spain, Montage grows into assemblage works, and continues his exploration of painting and structure.
1993 - Opens an independent gallery at 80 Spadina to exhibit Table of Dogs collective artwork.
1995 - Publishes his works online, and begins experimenting with online exhibitions.
1996 - Exhibits at Propeller Gallery, Toronto, Canada.
1997 - Included in Wegway publication, Steve Armstrong. Wins prize in the Art Focus Magazine for his abstract pieces that begin the Particle series.
1998 - Birth of his son, Hamish, moves to Everdale farm in rural Ontario.
2001 - Begins to exhibit the Particle works and his visualization of TCP/IP packets.
2003 - His studio in Everdale burns to the ground, destroying hundreds of artworks. Watching it burn, he pulls out a camera and meticulously documents the destruction.
2004 - Returns to Toronto.
2006- Solo exhibition at Engine Gallery, 'Spaces in Between'. Begins to experiment with ' icon form' pieces, of both personal surroundings objects and individuals, Tommy Douglas.
2007 - Solo exhibition at Craig Scott Gallery, 'Ascending Language.'
2008 - Solo exhibition at Craig Scott Gallery, 'Further Unmanned Strategies.'
2009 - Continues to live and work in downtown Toronto.
2010 - Solo exhibition at Gallery Page and Strange, Halifax - 'Passing Over.'
2011 - Solo exhibition at La Parete Gallery, Toronto - 'The New Nature.'
